The gingerbreads is a typically Galician sweet that is produced in many villages but in the Coruña town of Melide reaches its excellence. The gingerbreads are usually very small donuts that are brightened and glazed (in addition to increasing their sweet taste) with syrup, at the right point that the pastry chef or baker knows.
