Señorio de Rubios County of Tea Branco Brut. A sparkling wine made in the Rías Baixas with a coupage of Galician varietals. It is made by the winery of the same name in As Neves (County of Tea). It is from the Galician wineries that it has been producing sparkling wines. Specifically since 2012. It is a sparkling wine in which the Treixadura, Loureiro, Albariño and Godello take part which are four Galician autochthonous white varietals.
We wanted to try it because the combination of these Galician grapes suggested a unique sparkling wine. And I know that these varietals combined in a sparkling wine certainly had us intrigued.
And we must recognize that it is very different from other sparkling wines that we have tried in other areas. The truth is that the marked Atlantic character of this wine is its differentiating feature.
Tasting notes of Señorio de Rubios Tea Branco County Brut
A sparkling wine that looks bright and clean in the glass, with a pale yellow color. Certain greenish reflections in movement and with a fine and quite abundant bubble.
A wine with a very good aromatic intensity fruit of the blend that it has. Presence of fruity touches, predominating those of white stone fruit and certain citrus touches. Very subtle on the nose and elegant without doubt with what intensifies even more the aromas.
The palate is perceived fresh and with lightness. The fruity charge is again clearly present, which is mixed with the effervescence in the mouth, leaving a very pleasant sensation.
